What a wonderful specialist doctor. Dr. Alissa is very friendly and caring. I have never had a bad experience with him. he will work really hard to find a way to control your disease as best he can. I wouldn’t see another rheumatologist. If you’re searching yelp for a good one, no need to look any further, you found him. I’ve seen dr. Alissa for 4 years now and I stand behind my review 100% with honesty as a patient of his.
I cannot leave out the staff, sure I’ve had my problems in the past but this team he has working for him currently are awesome. Very friendly and helpful. Always ready to help you and with a smile on their face. They work together like a well oiled machine in that office! Very impressed lately with how well my appointments get scheduled, my scripts get handled. I think he’s finally found the right staff!!!
Anything fusion related is always a great experience thanks to Miri, it’s not a fun thing to do but she keeps that part of handling my RA delightful. She is awesome. I can’t say enough about her.

I love my drive to this office.. Dr. Alissa remembers me and what is going on w me. He listens. He takes extra percussion. I have had RA for 6 years and never been explained the way he explained it every other doc would just take me off medicine no matter if I felt well or not bc I wasn’t in remission.. He has taken X-rays of me when I haven’t had one in 6 years he is doing a bone density test which I have never had.. His staff are lovely. I feel like he has best interest at heart

I look forward to my Dr. visits each time. Dr ALLISSA is very attentive to me and I’m sure his other patients. He gives his undivided attention and I really like that. He truly cares for his patients and their health needs. And it shows. His staff is like no other. They are all a special group of people. We are blessed.

I have been a patient of Dr Alissa’s since 2010. In all these years, he & his staff have been nothing but kind, caring and professional. Yes there have been times over the years when they’re stressed or running late. But that ALWAYS turns out to be because they are working on a patient who must be seen immediately for a good reason. I know because I have been that patient a time or two. I cannot speak highly enough of his core staff that have been with him from day one: Debra (medical assistant), Raquel (receptionist), Miri (infusion specialist), Sophia (office manager) to name just a few. I have been one of Dr Alissa’s “tough cases”. We have gone through many, many different and varied treatments for my RA. I can honestly say Dr Alissa & his staff have NEVER given up on me or treated me with any kind of negative feedback even on my worst days! Thanks to this and my own determination to never give up, it seems I may finally be on the road to a mor e functional and productive life once again. My heartfelt thanks will always be with Dr Alissa and all of his staff.

Dr. Alissa and staff were thorough during exam. Dr. Alissa was very compassionate and sympathetic after learning of death of a family member. Dr. Alissa continues to help relieve pain during treatment for RA.

Dr Alissa and his staff, in particularly Debrah have been a blessing to me. A Rhuematologist is not a doctor that I didn’t even know what was until I was diagnosed with autoimmune disease, when my primary Dr. ran test and I they back positive with ANA. He referred me to Dr. Alissa and told told me Dr Alissa was rather aggressive with treatment. In my first appointment he talked to me for nearly an hour to get my history explain to him problems I was having with arthritis in my knee and energy, fatigue issue and my recent weight loss. That first appointment he sent me to the lab to have “lots & lots” of blood work and then to radiology to have extensive X-rays taken of my hands, wrists, shoulders, neck, back and hips. Dr, Alissa is not quick to jump to a diagnosis, he makes sure he has it right. I’ve been on several treatments if something isn’t working he will try something else, to keep your disease from progressing. You might have to wait a littl e during your appointment but it is worth it for the care you receive.
